After checking out Shibuya and Yoyogi park we got the metro to Roppongi Hills and the Mori Art Museum. A rather special exhibition called “Sensing Nature” was on, which blew us both away. Highlights included “Forest from Forest”, which you view from underneath, stooping down to go inside the installation and then popping your head out of portals which then reveal a winter forest scene, complete with the heads of other gallery-goers poking out of the floor. Also a rather disturbing piece where red liquid drips from a waterfall, pools on a large flat surface and drips down into gutters. The experience was heightened further by being located on the 52nd floor of the Mori Building.
