Inside the hut, South Koreans stand guard. They adopt a modified taekwondo stance with fists clenched. The table in the middle straddles the border, when you go past you are in North Korea! It’s probably not a good idea to go through the door at the back. When we leave, North Korean tourists (mainly from China) will come into the same hut guarded by North Korean soldiers. Perhaps they should think about linking up, save on staff costs?
